Cebu, Philippines Trip

Cebu is often called "Queen City of South"
According to our tour guide, many "first" happened in Cebu. Cebu was the first City (oldest) in the Philippines.
Before, Cebu was the capital city of the Philippines.
Cebu is also known for many old churches like Sto. Nino church, Cebu Cathedral and many more.

If you just want a quick tour of the City, it can be done for half day just like we did.

Mactan Island
Magellan Shrine

Lapu Lapu Shrine

Philippine Taoist Temple
Cebu Heritage Monument

Basilica de Sto. Nino

Magellan's Cross
According to our tour guide, this cross was already enclosed with tindalo wood
(that's why it is still beautiful) because of old age.

Fort San Pedro
built in 1700's to protect Muslim raids

Blessed Predo Calungsod Church
In this church, kept the tool that was used to kill Blessed Predo Calungsod.

After our tour, we headed to our hotel, Crown Regency Hotel and Towers
The hotel itself has many attractions like Sky Adventure, 4D, Wall Climbing, Zipline, and many more.
It is also near Robinson's Mall.

Sky Walk
(you will be given a certificate after you finished the walk)

The next day, we took ferry boat to Tagbilaran, Bohol

This is not just an ordinary trip.
With just half day tour, we already learned a lot of history, not just of Cebu but the
history of  the PHILIPPINES.
However, I think I can't absorb all that information all of a sudden --- info overload.
 WOW!

Until Next Travel,
TFE
